As they travel, Iredoll reluctantly becomes a mentor, teaching Klaven to wield Gaia’s will, a force that both nurtures and destroys. Along the way, they are joined by Little Thom, a scrappy rogue whose antics and loyalty bring both levity and heart to their dangerous quest. But the trio soon discovers that the path to redemption is fraught with peril: rival druids, vengeful brigands, and illusions of grandeur test their resolve at every turn.
