Meet Sanja, the Fierce Redblade of Gallia
Sanja, known as Redblade in the shadowy streets of Gallia, is not your typical heroine. Orphaned and hardened by years of living on the streets, her fiery red hair and quick blade have made her both feared and respected.
Fiercely independent and sharp-witted, Sanja has an uncanny ability to adapt, whether outwitting street thugs, dodging Yellow Cloaks, or holding her own against the city's power brokers. But beneath her tough exterior lies a heart burdened by loss and a deep yearning for belonging.
As her legend grows, Sanja must grapple with her past and decide if she will use her skills to survive—or to change her world.
Welcome to Gallia. This is a preview of Redblade—a gritty, character-driven fantasy set in a city of shadows. Follow Sanja, a fiery orphan-turned-legend, as she navigates power, betrayal, and survival with steel in her hand and fire in her blood. Dive into the sample below, and meet the girl they call Redblade.
“They calls me Redblade. Come a little closer, and I’ll shows you why,” she growled, raising her little dirk and stabbing in the direction of the fat man’s chins, which jiggled as he laughed uncontrollably.
“Ha, Ha, Ha! You are certainly my kind of people, little Redblade,” he bellowed. “So tiny and yet so fierce. Look at her, Jen! I think she will fit the part perfectly. What do you think?”
The hulking bald man beside him nodded silently, his scarred neck seeming to pulse with the motion.
The fat man tossed a silver coin to Sanja, who snatched it midair with nimble fingers, never letting her piercing green eyes leave his face.
“Take that silver and get a bath, child, and a clean tunic. I have work for you if you’re interested,” he said, smirking.
Sanja wiped the grease from her lips with her oversized tunic sleeve and glanced down at the coin. “What kinds of work?” she asked, her tone cautious but intrigued.
The fat man leaned closer. “Come to my shop tomorrow at the tannery in the Burdens. We’ll talk details. And don’t think about running off with that silver—it’s not worth the chase.” He grinned and lumbered off with Jen.
Sanja tucked the coin away, muttering under her breath, “Fat man’s chins jiggle like they’re alive.” Yet curiosity flickered in her sharp green eyes as she watched them leave, already calculating her next move.
